For countries like India and China, which rely heavily on oil imports, the shift to electric vehicles (EVs) is a no-brainer. We’re already seeing a massive uptake in electric 2- and 3-wheelers, as they offer an affordable, efficient alternative to traditional fuel-powered vehicles.
As the power situation continues to improve, EV adoption will only grow. However, to truly support this shift, more infrastructure is needed. In addition to scaling up renewable energy sources like solar and wind, countries will need to invest in nuclear energy to provide a reliable and consistent power supply.
The more we move towards electric, the less we’ll need to rely on oil—and that’s a win for both the environment and energy independence.
